 OLD BUSINESS

PRO Board Meeting on February 1, 2010:  The main topic of discussion was liquidation of the Board.  The vote was 6 to 1 to disband.

HOA Board Meeting on February 5, 2010:

  • Final study of speed traffic should be complete in March 2010.
  • Currently, there cannot be open houses for houses for sale inside the Plantation.  David volunteered to serve on the committee looking into this matter.
  • Approval of 50 percent plus 1 of Plantation residents would be needed to allow property owners to drill wells on their land.  It will be difficult to get such a large voter turnout.
  • Geo-thermal heating for the Ashley pool should be complete by end of March.
  • Plantation Plaza:  There are still issues to be resolved.  It is not known when the plaza will open.
  • Information for the Relay for Life benefiting the American Cancer Society is available at all activity centers.
