E.   ALL OFFICERS AND COMMITTEE MEMBERS MUST CONDUCT THEMSELVES IN A FIDUCIARY MANNER.

 

F.   DUTIES OF OFFICERS:

 

1.      PRESIDENT SHALL HAVE GENERAL SUPERVISION OF THE ASSOCIATION AND SHALL PRESIDE AT MONTHLY MEETINGS.  ADDITIONALLY, THE PRESIDENT SHALL ACT AS THE LIAISON BETWEEN THE SRVRA AND THE PLANTATION AT LEESBURG HOA.

            2.     VICE PRESIDENT SHALL ASSUME THE DUTIES OF THE PRESIDENT IN  THE ABSENCE OF OR  THE INABILITY OF THE  PRESIDENT TO  PERFORM DUTIES.

            3.     SECRETARY SHALL KEEP AND MAINTAIN THE MINUTES OF  MEMBERSHIP MEETINGS.  THE  SECRETARY SHALL ALSO MAINTAIN AND KEEP CURRENT NAMES AND GENERAL   INFORMATION OF ALL  MEMBERS. (INFORMATION TO BE PROVIDED BY THE MEMBERS  THEMSELVES.)

 1.                           4.     TREASURER IS THE CUSTODIAN OF THE ASSOCIATION’S FUNDS.  IT  IS  THE TREASURER’S                  RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP RECEIPTS AND TO SUPERVISE THE DISBURSEMENT OF FUNDS.  THIS  OFFICER SHALL KEEP PROPER FINANCIAL RECORDS AND GIVE A REPORT AT THE MONTHLY  MEETING.

 

Ø       In case of sickness, resignation or other reason for failure to perform duties, the offices of Vice-President, Secretary or Treasurer may be filled by nomination from the floor at a residents meeting

 G.   FUNCTIONS OF COMMITTEES:

      1.        SOCIAL: ORGANIZING FUN ACTIVITIES, PARTIES AND EVENTS.

2.        DECORATING: MAKING, OBTAINING, DESIGNING DECORATIONS FOR THE SABLE RIDGE ENTRANCE.

 

3.        SUNSHINE: WELCOMING NEW RESIDENTS, GETTING INFORMATION TO NEW RESIDENTS, SENDING CARDS, FLOWERS, ETC. AS DEEMED APPROPRIATE.

      

      4.        E.D.S.:

 

H.  NOMINATION AND ELECTION OF OFFICERS:

               

             ELECTION OF OFFICERS SHALL BE FINALIZED EACH FEBRUARY.  IN NOVEMBER, THE PRESIDENT SHALL APPOINT A NOMINATING COMMITTEE WHICH WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE NOMINATION FORM TO BE GIVEN TO EACH MEMBER HOUSEHOLD.  THE COMMITTEE WILL ENCOURAGE MEMBERS TO SIGN UP FOR POSITIONS.  MEMBERS SHOULD PUT THEIR NAMES ON ANY OFFICE THEY ARE INTERESTED IN HOLDING AND RETURN THE FORM AS INSTRUCTED.  IF THERE ARE NO VOLUNTEERS FOR AN OFFICE, THE NOMINATING COMMITTEE WILL RECRUIT NOMINEES FOR THE FEBRUARY ELECTION.

 

I.  OFFICIAL RECORDS:

 

1.        FINANCIAL RECORDS MUST BE REPORTED AT LEAST EVERY THREE MONTHS, IF NOT MONTHLY.

2.        MINUTES OF THE MEETINGS WILL SERVE AS IMPORTANT DOCUMENTATION OF CHANGES IN   GUIDELINES.  THE MINUTES SHALL CONSIST OF REPORTS FROM OFFICERS AND COMMITTEES,   REPORTS ON SPECIAL PROJECTS AND MOTIONS BEFORE THE FLOOR.

3.        NAMES, ADDRESSES, PHONE NUMBERS AND E-MAIL ADDRESSES OF ALL MEMBERS
