GUIDELINES FOR SABLE RIDGE VILLAGE RESIDENT ASSOCIATION (SRVRA)

A.  PURPOSE:

1.        TO PROMOTE A FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD WITH GOOD WILL FOR ALL.

2.        TO DECORATE THE COMMON PROPERTY AT THE SABLE RIDGE ENTRANCE.

3.        TO ORGANIZE EVENTS FOR OUR NEIGHBORHOOD.

4.        TO COORDINATE EVENTS WITH PLANTATION HOA, AS REQUESTED.

 DISCLAIMER:  OUR NEIGHBORHOOD GROUP (SRVRA) IS NOT A HOMEOWNERS’ ASSOCIATION NOR IS IT A PROPERTY OWNERS’ ASSOCIATION.  IT IS AN ENTITY SEPARATE FROM THE PLANTATION AT LEESBURG HOA.

B.  MEETINGS ARE HELD THE 2^ND TUESDAY OF EACH MONTH AT ASHLEY HALL AT 3:30PM.

C.  FEES:  THE SRVRA FEES FOR THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO JOIN ARE AS FOLLOWS:

            1.        $30.00 PER HOUSEHOLD INITIAL ONE-TIME FEE UPON JOINING. 

2.        $10.00 ANNUAL FEE PER HOUSEHOLD INCLUDING THE FIRST YEAR.  THIS FEE IS DUE IN  FEBRUARY OF EACH YEAR.

3.        THE ANNUAL FEE WILL BE PRO-RATED MONTHLY FOR RESIDENTS JOINING THE ASSOCIATION   LATER THAN FEBRUARY.

4.        ALL CHECKS SHOULD BE MADE PAYABLE TO SABLE RIDGE VILLAGE RESIDENT ASSN.

Ø      Fees are used for decorating and to help support our neighborhood sunshine and social events.

 Ø      All Sable Ridge residents are encouraged to join our neighborhood group.  Sable Ridge residents who are non-members will not be excluded from the meetings or from social events.  There may be a nominal fee charged to non-member residents who wish to attend social events.

D.    THE SABLE RIDGE VILLAGE RESIDENT ASSOCIATION LEADERSHIP SHALL BE COMPRISED FROM THE BODY OF MEMBERS AS FOLLOWS:

        OFFICERS:

1.        PRESIDENT

2.        VICE-PRESIDENT

3.        SECRETARY

4.        TREASURER

Ø      Officers are elected or the offices volunteered for each February.

Ø      If two or more members volunteer for the same position, there shall be a written secret ballot cast at the February meeting.  The majority vote of those in attendance rules.

Ø      The term of office is one year.  There is no limit as to the number of terms one may serve.

4.    E.D.S. (Everybody Does Something)

Ø      No elections are required.  Sign up sheets available in February.  New members may join anytime.

Ø      A Chairperson and Co-chairperson shall be appointed within each committee.
